Today's post is made especially for the Fans of soccer, as you all know this year world cup is close so I'm going to show you how to get notifications with the time of the World Cup 2014 matches on your mobile phone for free.
For that we will use Google Calendar service.
All you have to do is go to the Google calendar (assuming you are logged into your Google) In the side menu click on the arrow in front of "Other calendars" and select Add by URL.
Then in the pop-up window put this link:
https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/vdmtdcektajkqjk51vvda4ni4k%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
And Click on "Add Calendar"
Click on the arrow in front of the calendar that we added "World Cup 2014". Then choose "Reminders and notifications".
In the new window choose the notification mode (either by SMS or e-mail ..) and time (before the half-hour or 10 minutes ..)
If you do not see the SMS options, it means that you need to add a mobile number in the Google Calendar service.
It's simple .Go to Settings and then "set up the phone", choose your country and then your phone number, then click on "Send Verification Code". Then you will recieve a message on your mobile phone number with the activation code , and enter it in the box as in the picture below.
That's it - You're done !!
